Singer Caballero Titanium Watches: A Fusion of Craftsmanship and Innovation

Instructions

Singer Reimagined, established in Geneva in 2017, emerges from the collaboration between Rob Dickinson, known for bespoke Porsche 911 restorations, and Italian watch designer Marco Borraccino. Driven by a shared passion for 1960s-70s sports chronographs and engineering excellence, their philosophy centers on 'Reimagined, Restored, Reborn.' While chronographs are their primary focus, the Caballero stands out as Singer's dedicated time-only timepiece. This model boasts a unique movement featuring four barrels, providing an impressive six-day power reserve. Following its initial launch, two new Caballero variations are now available, distinguished by their lightweight titanium cases and refined dial hues.

The latest Caballero models are meticulously crafted from titanium, resulting in a compact 39mm diameter and a slender 10.5mm thickness. To counteract the inherently subdued, gunmetal tone of titanium, Singer has expertly enhanced the design with micro-sandblasted surfaces that dramatically contrast with mirror-polished bevels, emphasizing the graceful C-shaped lugs and the case's elegant curved profile. The bezel, with its fluted edge, further accentuates this contrast through its brilliant mirror-polished finish. A generously sized, fluted crown ensures optimal grip for winding and time adjustment.

A distinctive feature of this collection is the golden-toothed flange on the dial, a bold design element that harmonizes with the golden central pinion securing the hands. Another signature aesthetic involves four visible rubies through dial apertures, which are functional jewels capping the ends of the movement's four barrels. Available with rich matte dials in Avio Blue or Cocoa Brown, the absence of hour markers highlights a deliberate minimalism that does not compromise character. The vibrant orange Super-LumiNova on the hour and minute hand tips perfectly complements the Singer Orange central seconds hand.

Reflecting the brand's association with powerful engineering, the proprietary Calibre-4 movement delivers remarkable autonomy. This manual-winding mechanism, developed from the ground up, incorporates a unique four-barrel architecture arranged in parallel, ensuring a consistent torque curve and a six-day power reserve. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, it is designed for exceptional stability and long-term precision, maintaining constant amplitude throughout its reserve. The bridges are rhodium-plated and meticulously finished with micro-blasting and polished chamfers. The Singer Caballero Titanium editions are paired with color-matched textile straps featuring leather loops, tapering from 20mm to 16mm at the steel pin buckle. These timepieces, available from May 2026, are priced at CHF 18,500 (excluding tax).

Singer Reimagined's Caballero Titanium collection embodies a harmonious blend of innovative watchmaking and thoughtful design. These timepieces are not merely instruments for measuring time but are sophisticated works of art that celebrate both technical prowess and aesthetic refinement. They serve as a testament to the brand's commitment to pushing boundaries while honoring traditional craftsmanship, inspiring enthusiasts to appreciate the intricate beauty and precision that define true horological excellence.
