Seabridge Gold Inc. has unveiled encouraging metallurgical findings from its Snip North deposit, a key component of the Iskut Gold-Copper Project situated in British Columbia's Golden Triangle. These systematic tests, performed by ALS Metallurgy, confirm the mineralization's strong amenability to established flotation techniques, aligning with the successful processing approach utilized at the company's nearby KSM Project.
Further analysis of drill-core samples from the 2025 exploration program highlighted a notable resemblance between Snip North's metallurgical characteristics and those of the Mitchell deposit. The comprehensive metallurgical assessment, including locked cycle tests, successfully yielded high-grade copper-gold-molybdenum concentrates. Samples, initially showing copper grades between 0.04% and 0.26% and gold grades from 0.4 g/t to 1.21 g/t, ultimately produced concentrates with up to 28% copper and 525 g/t gold. Moreover, the integration of supplementary cyanide leaching on pyritic concentrates significantly enhanced overall gold recoveries, ranging from 85.3% to 92.7%. Initial bond work index evaluations also indicated that the mineralization is relatively soft, making it well-suited for standard grinding processes.
