The United States International Trade Commission recently ruled against GoPro, finding that Insta360 did not infringe upon five of GoPro’s utility patents. These patents were related to crucial technologies such as stabilization, horizon leveling, distortion correction, and aspect ratio conversion. The ruling indicated that GoPro's patents were either invalid, not infringed upon, or both. Despite this legal challenge, GoPro's focus remains firmly on innovation, as evidenced by the development and upcoming release of the GP3 processor.
